| Gear Up for the month |
|
You may or may not be inclined to set goals for the year. Some people love goal setting and others find it doesn't suit their style. Whatever your style is this simple exercise in planning can be a great help
Write down things that have to be done in January (get kid's school items, prepare house for sale, go on a business trip, plan a work or social event, prepare a budget, hire a new staff member) Next to each item, write down what date it needs to be done by. Calculate how long it might take you to complete each job.Break that total time up into smaller time slots Write the smaller time slots in your diary (yes, by now you really do need to have that 2008 diary)And commit to tackling each task a chunk at a time.By the end of the month you will have completed all your ‘have-to-dos" and you'll be ready to take on the rest of the year with passion and energy!! |
