What is residential organising?
Residential organising helps you to achieve your goals at home. InOrder works hands on with you to achieve your organising goals, whilst coaching you and giving you the skills to continue on your own. This is an incredibly powerful process which allows you to regain control of your time, your home and your life. We work in all areas of the home: kitchens, kids rooms, sheds, spare rooms, wardrobes, laundries, filing cabinets, home offices. InOrder also assists with time management, basic budgeting and menu planning.
How does it work?
You ring to make an appointment for your free consultation. In this consultation Roz from InOrder will detail all organising services and answer all your questions. If you feel InOrder services are what you've been looking for, you sign a support agreement and set a date for your very first session. You work with Roz over a period of time to get your home where you want it to be!
Shouldn't I be able to do this myself?
Do you fix your own appliances, build your own house, train yourself at the gym, or do your own bookkeeping/tax? We all need a professional in some areas of our life. For some people that area is getting organised. Sessions with Professional Organisers not only give you the skills to continue on your own, but also allow you to focus. Many people hire Professional Organisers because they know it's the only way they will dedicate blocks of time to the task at hand. They also know that by working with a professional, they will achieve their goals. Every successful person has a great team around them.
How much will I have to throw away?
Organising isn't about being clinical or minimalist. It's about creating appropriate homes for things and ensuring you can safely access what you need when you need it. You are the one who makes all decisions about keeping or throwing. InOrder has a process to guide you, but ultimately you take responsibility for every decision. And that is very empowering!
When I've thrown things out - are we finished?
Getting organised is a process. Like keeping fit or sustaining healthy relationships it requires maintenance. De-cluttering, or getting rid of unwanted stuff, is the first step. After that we put in good systems that suit you, and we work on creating habits for you to maintain your organised home, office, life!
How long will it take?
How long did it take you to get to where you are today? Weeks, months, years? Different time frames will suit different people. InOrder works with you over a period of time to achieve your goals.
What if I have to cancel or postpone?
InOrder understands that life is ever changing and things do come up. We'll do our best to accommodate any rescheduling if 48 hours notice is given. Non emergency cancellations or reschedules less than 48hrs, will be charged a cancellation fee.
What about confidentiality?
InOrder guarantees 100% confidentiality and operates under the AAPO Code of Ethics. If required InOrder will sign a confidentiality agreement. InOrder treats your privacy and confidentiality with the utmost respect.
How much will it cost?
Hints, tips and articles are free. Your first consultation is free. InOrder is a professional service offering you the benefit of years of expertise and experience.
